CyVerse Selected for Pilot NSF Award for Translational Biotechnologies
11 NSF-funded research projects to receive additional investment to accelerate the translation of research into biotechnologies with commercial and societal impacts

CyVerse is one of two University of Arizona-based projects selected by the NSF for a pilot grant intended to "accelerate the translation of research into biotechnologies and bio-inspired designs with commercial and societal impacts." Partnering with the nonprofit NobleReach Emerge (a part of the nonprofit organization NobleReachTM Foundation), NSF intends this investment "to serve as a model for creating a sustained national technology translation program for critical technology areas with broad economic and societal applications."
