About the webinar

Data, arguably the most valuable resource in research, is getting even more so as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) change how and at what pace research gets accomplished. As datasets grow in scale and complexity, good tools and the expertise and strategy to use them effectively is required for training models that are used to analyze and synthesize new data.

In this webinar, CyVerse PI, Nirav Merchant, kicks off our Fall 2024 webinars with several real life examples and solutions of how researchers are utilizing CyVerse to manage and organize their datasets to make them ML/AI ready. From accessing crowd-sourced image datasets available from iNaturalist to wearable sensor data collected in health studies to open-access genomics and environmental data, learn what Data+ML/AI+CyVerse can add up to for your own research.

What you'll learn

  • How researchers have used CyVerse, ML and data resources
  • What data management hurdles CyVerse can help you overcome when dealing with datasets of any size
  • Where and how to get started with ML/AI using CyVerse
