With apologies to Alice and her looking glass, this webinar will take you through CyVerse's newly redesigned and refreshed user portal so you can make the most of the platform services that your CyVerse account offers. CyVerse portal developer Matt Bomhoff will cover how to request access to various CyVerse services, request additional resources (e.g., disk space), enroll in a Workshop that uses CyVerse, and write a Support request so we can easily resolve your issue. Join us and learn what's new at CyVerse for 2021.

About the Presenter

CyVerse developer Matt Bomhoff graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Computer Systems Engineering. Since 2007, he has worked as a Bioinformatics Software Engineer at the University of Arizona on several projects, starting with the comparative genomics project CoGe, moving on to the microbiome platform iMicrobe, and now CyVerse. He enjoys all aspects of scientific software development, from building analytical pipelines to user interfaces. Matt has spent the past few months revamping the CyVerse user portal, incorporating extensive community and staff input, to streamline and clarify the account services and users' onboarding experience.
