My primary responsibilities at CyVerse include integrating new tools and creating news apps for the Discovery Environment, user support, and documentation.

My research interests include proteomics and transcriptomics (both mRNA and ncRNA). Most of my work has been on plant and animal agricultural species, although I have occasionally worked with agricultural pathogens as well. I am also involved in functional gene annotation using Gene Ontology (GO) and the chicken gene nomenclature consortium (CGNC).
